Major administrative reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh

In a much awaited administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday transferred 67 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers which included several principal secretaries and 22 district magistrate.

Bulandshahr DM B Chandrakala and Lakhimpur DM Kinjal Singh, who were in the controversies owing to their high ended behaviour were also in the list. While Chandrakala was sent to relatively smaller district Bijnor, Kinjal has been shifted to Faizabad.

President’s rule ends Harish Rawat regime in Uttarakhand

The week-long political drama in Uttarakhand ended on Sunday when President’s was imposed in the Hill State after recommendation from the Union Cabinet.

A report recommending imposition of the president’s rule was sent to the central govdernment last Saturday night by the Uttarkhand governor.

It seems like Samajwadi Party (SP) family tree is on full boom, as now the party has given ticket to Mulayam’s younger daughter-in-law Aparna Bisht Yadav from Cantonment assembly seat in Lucknow for 2017 elections. She will be the 10th member of SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav ‘s family to enter the politics.
