Massive retaliation! BSF guns down 10 Pakistani soldiers

Srinagar: In a massive retaliation of Indian soldier dying on his birthday in ceasefire violation, Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday gunned down 10 Pakistani soldiers here. BSF destroyed several Pakistani posts.

"Our BSF soldier was deployed on forward duty point when Pakistan's siphon shot hit him yesterday. Border Security Force gave a solid response in which Pakistan's infrastructure, solar panel & weapons were damaged. Their posts suffered major loss," said IG BSF Jammu.

A Border Security Force (BSF) trooper was killed on Wednesday in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan Rangers on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district.

BSF sources said the trooper identified as R.P. Hanjrey of the 173rd Battalion was killed in sniper fire from across the border. He is survived by his wife, an 18-year-old son and a 21-year-old daughter.
