Lt. Gen Balwant Singh inspects forward areas of U'khand

Dehradun: Lieutenant General Balwant Singh Negi, Army Commander, Central Command carried out an operational reconnaissance of forward areas of Uttarakhand along the Line of Actual Control.

He was briefed on the operational issues pertaining to the sector.

Lieutenant General Singh interacted with the jawans at forward locations and exhorted them to continue to work hard and maintain 24x7 vigil in the most inhospitable terrain of Uttarakhand.

Lieutenant General Balwant Singh also carried out an aerial reconnaissance of hinterland security areas of Western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
