Prayagraj: In order to press for the construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a group of seers are lighting 33,000 diyas (lamps) daily at the ongoing Kumbh Mela 2019 in Prayagraj.

Seers said that they would light 11 lakh diyas in January and pray for the early construction of Lord Ram Temple at the disputed Babri Masjid site.

They are of a belief that construction work of Ram Temple in Ayodhya will begin soon after the conclusion of Kumbh 2019 on March 4.

Devotees have also placed few hoardings demanding the construction of Ram Temple.
