Kathua rape case: Trial begins today in Supreme Court

New Delhi: Amid nationwide anger over Kathua rape and murder, the hearing in the case will begin in the Supreme Court on Monday.

The 8 year-old victim's father has approached the apex court seeking security, safety and transfer of the case out side Jammu and Kashmir.

The main accused of the brutality has said that he will go through the narco test and it will make everything clear. Sanji Ram said, "everything will be clear after Narco test."

Accused constable's lawyer Aseem Sahni has stated that the copy of the full chargesheet in the case has not been provided to him. "Full charge sheet copy has not been provided to us. We are depending on information from social media. We are handicapped," the lawyer stated.

The Supreme Court will hear the matter at 2 pm on Monday.
