Agra: President of Israel Reuven Rivlin, currently on a state visit to India, will be in Taj city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday i.e November 16 during which he is to inspect Israeli water treatment plant 'Aqwise'.

Aqwise, provider of advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions, provides the technology for major drinking water treatment and supplies drinking water to the entire city of Agra, a communique of the Israeli embassy in new Delhi informed.

President Rivlin is on a state visit to India upon the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee. This visit by the Israeli President is the first in nearly 20 years, taking place in reciprocity to the October 2015 visit by President Mukherjee, and symbolizing the growing partnership between India and Israel.

The Israeli President is accompanied by heads of business and academic delegations including 15 heads of Israeli universities as well as Israeli companies, some of which are already active and successful in India.
