LUCKNOW, The inner bickering in the BJP is being attributed to the fact that the senior party leader and former MP Ramakant Yadav has been denied Y plus security despite the latter has received threats from various terror outfits.

Incidentally, Ramakant Yadav was pitched again the Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav from Azamgarh in the last Lok Sabha elections which subsequently he lost.

Three times Bharatiya Janata Party MP who had received life threats from many terrorist organizations like Islamic State of Iraq and Syria(ISIS) and many others has yet to receive security even after a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh from none other that the BJP President Amit Shah.

Regretting the raw deal being given to him, the BJP leader Yadav told newztrack.com that he was facing life threats after contesting election against SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. Adding, he said this was also owing to the fact that he had been raising voice against terrorist activities inside the country which are directly or indirectly related to the district.

“ I have raised the issue in-front of party President Amit Shah after meeting him and on May 22 last and he had written a letter to Home Minister Rajnath Singh requesting him to provide me a Y+ category security, but nothing has been done till date,” he said.

Meanwhile, the internal party sources attributed this to ‘not so good’ relations between Yadav and Rajnath Singh which said to be soured soon after 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

It may be recalled that the Home Ministry had provided Z+ security to former Bahujan Samaj Party MP and mafia-turned politician Dhananjay Singh, considered close to Rajnath Singh. The sources also claimed that Rajnath Singh was also not happy over the way the Rajasthan Governor and former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh was being propped in Uttar Pradesh over him. Apparently, Ramakant Yadav does not enjoy the blessings of Rajnath Singh hence being denied the y plus security.
