Saharanpur: Flagging off the Parivartan Yatra here on Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Amit Shah attacked the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) as he said that people in power in Uttar Pradesh are busy calling names.

Shah said, “chacha bhatije ko gali deta hai aur Bhatija chacha ko (chacha insults CM and vice-versa).” Where do they have time for governance, forget about good governance as they are busy fighting among themselves.

Amit Shah attacks Rahul Gandhi:

  • Our soldiers give befitting reply to opponents on the border.
  • A soldier commits suicide and they (Congress) is doing politics for vote bank.
  • This is condemnable.
  • Rahul Gandhi talks about One Rank One Pension (OROP) now but where was he when Congress dragged it for decades?
  • Only BJP government implemented the policy.
  • Practices like Triple Talaq should be abolished & Muslim women should be given equal status.
  • Other parties are doing politics over this.

Apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah, a galaxy of leaders including Rajnath Singh, Kalraj Mishra, Uma Bharti and Keshav Prasad Maurya, will address rallies during the Parivartan Rath Yatra.
