BSNL cuts its call rate by 80 per cent from January 16

New Delhi: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) cut down its call rates up to 80 per cent. Earlier, this benefit was given to new prepaid users only but now all the existing prepaid users have also been included in this scheme.

These call rates will come into effect from January 16.

BSNL board director for consumer mobility, RK Mittal said that their tariffs were the most competitive in the telecom industry having largest network coverage in India. He also informed that two new special tariff vouchers (STV) had also been introduced by them.

The call rates have been reduced for both per minute and per second plan holders.

BSNL is taking various measures for the betterment of its services and increase more customers.

The MNP (Mobile Number Portability) has also come good with 1, 57,564 people switching to BSNL network from July to November this year.
