Mumbai: Many B-town celebrities have come out in support of 'Dangal' actor Zaira Wasim who was trolled on social media because of her meeting with Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti.

Zaira took to Facebook and posted a public apology for “unintentionally hurting" people, after she was targeted on social media over her meeting with J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti.

The incident:

  • The 16-year-old Zahira met Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday, who inquired about her studies and interest in other co-curricular activities like acting.
  • However, the Kashmiri actress was trolled on social media when photos from the meeting went viral.
  • She also alleged to the people that she does not want anyone to follow her footsteps or even consider her as a role model.
