Asha Bhosle gets Yash Chopra Memorial honour, recollects memories

Mumbai: Legendary singer Asha Bhosle has been honoured with the fifth Yash Chopra Memorial Award.

The 84-year-old was felicitated by veteran actor Rekha in an event on Friday last where Pam Chopra, Alka Yagnik, Jackie Shroff, Parineeti Chopra and Poonam Dhillon were also present to offer tribute to the legendary singer.

During the function the lady remembered all the beautiful moments of her journey of over six decades and even recollected her first meeting with the late Yash Chopra.

Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha and Shah Rukh Khan have also been presented the honour in the past.
