Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' was the major charm in the 62nd Jio Filmfare awards, bagging three awards out of four nominations including- best film, best actor and best director.

Following her spectacular performance in 'Udta Punjab', Alia Bhatt was given Filmfare's best actor (female) award. Sonam Kapoor won the critics award for the best actor for her much loved film 'Neerja'. The award ceremony was hosted by Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan.

It could be mentioned here that Filmfare awards faced the heat of the masses after ignoring hit machine Akshay Kumar in 62nd Jio Filmare awards.
