UP government orders judicial inquiry into Mathura madness
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday appointed a judicial commission to inquire into Mathura violence which has led to killing of 24 persons, including two police officers.
The one-man commission will be headed by retired Allahabad high court justice Mirza Imtiaz Murtaza. Headquartered in Lucknow, the commission will submit its report in two months.

- Role of district police and administrative officers.
- Lapses, if any.
- Steps taken to vacate the area from encroachers.
- The commission will be asked to give suggestions to prevent such incidents in future.
