Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the second wave of Covid-19 Infection seems to be increasing. There is a continuous increase in cases of infection here. Meanwhile, the Yogi Government has made it clear that the cases have definitely increased, but the situation like lockdown is not yet.

Sidharth Nath Singh:

Uttar Pradesh government spokesperson and cabinet minister Sidharth Nath Singh said on Tuesday that the cases are big in UP but there is no such situation as lockdown. We are completely cautious about Covid-19. People are being made aware. On occasion of Holi, panchayat elections, people are coming in large numbers from many states including Maharashtra. We have also prepared for that. He said that our random checking is being done at all places like railway station, bus stand, airport.

He said that the country is more prepared this time than the first phase. We have full facilities. Whether Covid-19 Hospital, L1 Hospital or L2 Hospital, Control Room, all have been activated. We are appealing to the people to wear mask. Maintain distance. He said that we do not want to take action, but people who are still not following the rules, then we have to take strong action.

1368 new cases

The second wave of Corona is also seen in Uttar Pradesh. Every day there is an increase in the number of newly infected patients. On Monday, 1368 new patients were found in the state while five died. At present, the number of active patients in the state is 8669. As the investigation progresses, the number of patients is also increasing. During the last 24 hours, 119075 people were tested.
