Rotary Club distributed white sticks to visually impaired children

This program took place in the courtyard of Maharaja Agrasen Public School Gomti Nagar in which about 60 children participated.

Lucknow. Under the joint aegis of National Association for the Blind UP State Branch Lucknow and Rotary Club Trans Gomti Lucknow, today, on 22 October 2021, white sticks were distributed to visually challenged children. This program took place in the courtyard of Maharaja Agrasen Public School Gomti Nagar in which about 60 children participated. In the above program, distribution of white sticks was done by Sudhir Halwasia to 30 visually challenged children for maneuvering skills and for the purpose of spreading awareness and publicity. Anvi Rawat, Divyanshi Mishra and Shivansh Chandra mesmerized everyone by giving their performances in the program. The program started with Ganesh Vandana by Anvi Rawat. The President of the institution, Dr. Ramashankhdhar ji welcomed all the people present.

Dr. Shashi Prabha Gupta, general secretary of the institution said that the certificate of appreciation was given by Sudhir Halwasia to the passed students of class 10 and 12 of the institution. Rotary Club President Sudhir Halvasian, Rita Mittal and Secretary Amit Agarwal were present in the program, President Dr Ramashankhdhar, Vice President Amit Dubey, General Secretary Dr Shashi Prabha Gupta, parents of children, special teachers etc. were present on behalf of the organization.
