70 teams from reputed law universities from all around the country participated in the competition by submitting memorials.

Phenomenal performance by students in National Memorial Drafting Competition

The 2nd Dr. R.U.Singh National Memorial Drafting Competition was organized by the Lucknow University Moot Court Committee of the Faculty of Law located in the New Campus of Lucknow University. 70 teams from reputed law universities from all around the country participated in the competition by submitting memorials.

The Valedictory Ceremony of the competition was graced by Harkiran Kaur, Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Barabanki and Dr. Dhirendra Vikram Singh, Associate Professor, BBAU, as special guests. Respected Professor C.P. Singh, Head and Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow said that the talent shown by the students in this competition was precedented and appreciated the performance of all the participants. Professor Vinita Kacher, Associate Professor at Lucknow University and teacher coordinator of Moot Court Committee, congratulated all the participating students, wishing them a bright future. Judge Harkiran Kaur advised the students to hone their skills by participating in such competitions.

Dr. Dhirendra Vikram Singh told the students that even though we participate to win, every team that participates is already victorious.

Team Code 20 comprising of Arvind Kumar and Akash Kumar of Central University of South Bihar emerged as the winners of the national event and won a cash prize of 2000 rupees while Sahil Athwal and Jagriti Agarwal from NMIMS, Kirat Mehta School of Law, Team Code 25 were the runner ups and were awarded a cash prize of 1,000 rupees.
