Independence Day 2021: DPS, ELDECO reverberates with music & happy voices to celebrate freedom

As India celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2021, DPS ELDECO wore a festive look, suitably decorated with the colours of the tricolour . The school reverberated with music, happy voices of and festivities marking the day in a special assembly held in the school premises .

The dignity of the celebration was significantly enhanced by the presence of the Chairman, Mr. Mukhtarul Amin and the dignified guests.

The day began with the solemn hoisting of the flag followed by the national anthem sung by the school choir. A beautiful cultural programme , befitting the occasion, enlivened the festive air. Three NCC junior wing girl cadets were felicitated with 'A' certificates on this special day.

The gathering was addressed by the Chairman and the Principal who later actively participated in planting of saplings for a greener planet.

The festive air and the importance of the day made every heart swell with joy and pride.
