Keeping this fact in mind and also our resolve to help these artisans keep the local crafts alive, FLO Lucknow signed an MOU with AIFT to train women karigars in the various skills associated with garment manufacturing right from cutting to stitching to all major forms of embroidery prevalent in U.P.

This MOU will help FLO train several women over the year and make them economically independent and provide sustainable employment opportunities.

Talking about this initiative, FLO Lucknow Chairperson, Mrs. Arushi Tandon said, "Our karigars are the true proponents and custodians of our arts and crafts. Zardozi, Chikankari and kaamdani are some of our city's most valued and treasured crafts. What makes it is even more is that this craft is driven by women. We want to keep this tradition alive for our children for times to come."

Present during this event were all the Executive Committee members and members of FLO fashion community who have pledge to give employment to these women after training.
