FICCI FLO Launches Start Up Cell for Women Entrepreneurs

Lucknow. FICCI Flo Lucknow launched its new Startup Cell to encourage and train women towards entrepreneurship and also encourage experienced women entrepreneurs as investors and mentors for these startups.

Flo Lucknow Startup Cell also launched the prestigious AWE Project Lucknow on this day. The AWE Foundation is a US-based organization that works extensively to empower women financially. The organization also promotes inclusiveness, gender balance and economic development.

The AWE Project is an intensive 4-day mini-MBA program open to all women of the state. Commenting on the strengths of the AWE project, Seema Chaturvedi, Founder and President AWE Foundation said, "When we empower women financially, it brings a change in a large section of society.

Speaking on the potential of The AWE Project, Arushi Tandon, Chair Person, FICCI Flo Lucknow said, "This is an excellent opportunity to engage and empower women entrepreneurs in our communities and connect them to a global community."

Applications for the AWE project are open till July 25.
