Delhi Public School, Eldeco organizes a virtual Inter House Debate Competition

LUCKNOW: "Debate lets us listen to what other people think and how they make decisions. There should be an exchange of ideas and opinions because that's how we learn."

Delhi Public School, Eldeco organized a virtual Inter House Debate Competition for the students of grades VI toVIII . The competition was graced with the presence of the Principal, Mrs. Manisha Anthwal and the Judges - Head Mistress, Ms. Rashmi Rafi and Ms. Rupa Laheri.

The selected participants spoke eloquently and put up their point of views. The highlight of the show was the Rebuttal round, where the participants confidently questioned the opponent team members and were generously answered too.

The students in the audience also took active part in the open session and smartly disputed the participants.

The first position was bagged by Esther of Daffodil house followed by Plaksha and Sameeksha at 2nd and 3rd position of Bluebell and Shamrock House respectively.

The judges, Ms. Rashmi Rafi as well as Ms. Rupa Laheri were exhilarated by the confident and dignified approach of the participants. They acknowledged all the participants' sophisticated manner of refuting the opponent.

The Principal, Manisha ma'am extended her words of encouragement to the students as she found the students to be quite competent and that she looks forward to see them reaching great heights. She also congratulated the participants and the teachers for the success of the programme.
