RaGa: Opposition is united for JPC probe into demonetisation

New Delhi: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his absence from Parliament for a debate on Demonetisation. The Congress VP said that he wondered how the PM finds time to address rock concerts.

"The PM can speak on TV, pop concerts, but why not in Parliament?" Gandhi stated.

A number of opposition leaders have been demanding PM’s presence in the House since the winter session of Parliament started to debate the move of note ban which the government says is intended to check black money.
