Mayawati snubs BJP, says BSP- SP alliance will remain intact
Lucknow: Unfazed by the party candidate's defeat in Rajya Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh, the BSP Supremo Mayawati on Saturday apprehended misuse of CBI and ED against her by the BJP-led Government at the Centre.
"The agencies like Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate belong to them but it cannot deter me from scripting a strategy against the Bharatiya Janata,'' she said making it amply clear that her party will carry on with the political understanding with Akhilesh-led Samajwadi Party in the future.
Addressing the media, the BSP President squarely blamed the ruling dispensation in UP for blatantly indulging in 'horse trading ', misuse of government machinery and use of money power to ensure victory of its candidates in RS polls.
The Rajya Sabha win cannot erase BJP's ignominy of losing Lok Sabha bypolls of Gorakhpur and Phulpur even as it used the most 'unfair' means to defeat BSP candidate, she pointed out.

Spelling out clearly that BSP- SP alliance is here to stay, Ms Mayawati said it will further strengthen our resolve to work out strategy in order to eliminate BJP. '' BJP mujhe garm dimaag ka samajhti hai aur sochti hai ki is haar ke baad main SP ke saath alliance nahi karoongi to wah galat hai ( BJP considers me a hot-headed lady and will sever ties with the SP which is absolutely wrong), she stated thereby reaffirming that the alliance will remain intact .
The BSP Supremo sought to further clarify that BJP reminded me of June 2, 1995 Guest House incident in Lucknow but it had nothing to do with Akhilesh Yadav. "Moreover, BJP tried to unsettle me by posting OP Singh, one of the players behind the incident, as the UP Director General of Police (DGP)," she alleged.
