Four killed in Uttar Pradesh road accident, a dozen injured

Lucknow: A road accident in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday took a toll on the lives of four persons and injured a dozen.

The incident took place when a truck rammed into a tractor-trolley, police said.

Due to the impact of the collision, the trolley overturned and four persons were killed on the spot in Bighapur village.

The deceased have been identified as Ram Bahaman, his wife, Chabeele and Ramkali, an official said.

The injured have been rushed to a community health centre where the condition of two is said to be serious.
