Adani assures Rs 35000 crore investment in UP in 5 years

Lucknow: Adani business group proposes to invest Rs 35000 crore in Uttar Pradesh during the nest five years , the group Chairman Gautam Adani announced here on Wednesday.

Addressing the delegates at UP Investors Summit 2018 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said his group will develop food grain storage capacity of six lakh tonnes in Uttar Pradesh beside setting up 1500-MW solar project in the state.

Recalling the grand success of 'Vibrant Gujarat' , the investor summit in the state of Gujarat during the chief minister stint of Narendra Modi, the Chairman of Adani group said starting with 500 delegates , the leadership of Modi had seen it burgeoning to 55000 delegates. The same could well be perceived in Uttar Pradesh, he hoped.

Reckoning Uttar Pradesh as the land of unlimited potential, Adani said his group would be assigning its role in power distribution as well.

This was the first time that Adani visited UP as a potential investor and assuring hefty investment.
