Lucknow: Chocolates are the most loved junk of all time but when it comes to dark chocolates, not everyone is very fond of having them besides the health benefits it provides.

Often on our birthdays or some other events, we recieve immense amounts of chocolates and darker variations too. Now what to do with that big bar? Here, Newstrack brings to you this delicious dark chocolate cake.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Baking Time: 25-30 minutes

Ingredients

-All purpose flour

-Baking powder

-Egg

-Dark chocolate

-Sugar

-Milk

-Water

-Dry fruits

-Oil

-Butter

Let's start!

-Melt chunks of dark chocolate in your oven for around 1 minute.

-Incase you dont have grounded sugar, add around 6 big spoons of sugar in very little warm water and stir to dissolve it completely.

-In a bowl, sieve all purpose flour and baking pwder.

-Add egg, oil, sugar syrup, milk, dark chocolate mixture and beat the ingredients to a slightly thick consistency.

-Grease the baking tin with butter and transfer the batter into it.

-Add finely chopped dry fruits to the batter.

-Bake the cake in your preheated microwave oven till the sponge rises.

-Once ready, insert a toothpick in the centre of your sponge. It should come out clean.

-Remove it carefully from oven and let it cool.

-Once done, melt chunks of chocolate in oven and add milk or sugar syrup to it.

-Apply this chocolate cream frosting on your cake and decorate it as per your wish.

Your cake is ready! Enjoy alone or with your loved ones.

NOTE: The amount of sugar must be greater than the chocolate.
