We go to a restaurant, read the menu and think of ordering something new and exotic, but most of the time we end up ordering the favourite and the hugely famous mix sauce pasta. While pasta usually comes with red or white sauce, the mix sauce pasta is a combination of both.

It has a rich and tangy flavour with a hint of spice and is perfect for those who can’t choose between red and white sauce and want the best of both worlds. So here is a simple 5-step recipe to make the popular and delicious mix sauce pasta at home.

Step 1

Boil water with a pinch of salt in a pan and add penne pasta into it. Cook for 2-3 minutes to get an al dente cook on the pasta and then drain the water. Sprinkle some oil on the pasta to avoid sticking.e

Step 2

Heat some olive in a pan and add 1-inch grated ginger to it. Saute it for a few seconds and then add 1 medium-sized finely chopped onion and vegetables like red and yellow bell peppers along with ½ cup of baby corn.

Step 3

Now add 2 medium-sized finely chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes till the vegetables become soft. Add 3 tbsp of tomato puree and stir.

Step 4

Season the veggies with some white pepper powder, salt, red chilli flakes and oregano. To prepare the sauce, saute 2-3 finely chopped cloves of garlic in some butter. Add some all-purpose flour and milk to it. Mix it well and season with salt and pepper.
