Wanna get rid of Chapped lips? Make your own lip balm at home with these easy and simple steps. You can make this lip balm with the products at home.

Our lips need equal care like our body. Just like a skincare regime, you need to have a lip care routine too.

Maintaining smooth, hydrated lips is a must during the summer season. If your lips become dry, spend some extra time in your routine and exfoliate them with a mix of a little sugar and olive oil.

Follow these Easy Steps:

Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and half tablespoon of petroleum jelly and heat it in microwave safe bowl for at least 20 seconds until it becomes a thick paste.

Now scrape off some of your lipstick and add it to the paste. Mix until the lipstick has combined and the paste is now in the colour of the lipstick.

Heat it again for 10 seconds until the paste becomes runny. Now transfer it to a small container.

Store it in the fridge for about half an hour. Voila! There you have a homemade lip balm free of any chemicals and in the colour you always wanted!

Tip: Lemon can be a naturally available alternative to a lip balm. Apply 1 tbsp of lemon juice in 3-4 drops of coconut oil on your lips, every day before bedtime. Leave it on overnight. Lemon helps reducing darkness and pigmentation.
