Dietitian Kamini Sinha, founder of Noida-based Diet Mantra, said that people should be careful while eating and drinking during festivals. People eat many kinds of sweets like Ghevar, Laddu and Barfi on Raksha Bandhan as well as on other festivals.

These products contain so many calories and fatty acids which stores in our body. It is very important to remove these fats and other toxic elements. For this, the body should be detoxed. You can detox the body in natural ways by using some things that are kept at home. This will remove the risk of diseases and your body will be normal.

  1. To detox the body, drink cumin water, fennel water, cinnamon water or hot water. Avoid tea and coffee. But if you used to be drink tea in the morning then take less milk and sugar tea.
  2. Take seasonable fruits or you can eat oats as breakfast also.
  3. Eat healthy and less calories food in lunch. You can take green vegetables and pulses. You can also take lemon water or green tea in the afternoon.
  4. Take 'Daliya' at night for detoxing. It will clean your body. Drink as much as water you can.
  5. Do exercise in the morning or two to four hours after the meal. Try to walk for five minutes after half an hour.
