Giant panda cub makes his first public appearance!

Washington: The youngest giant panda cub born in France, Bei Bei, appeared in front of crowds for the first time, at the National Zoo on Saturday.

The cub unexpectedly showed no signs of freaking out. While the keepers were expecting Bei Bei to squawk and squirm during an audience, the cub preferred to fall asleep on an examination table, leaving a small puddle of drool on the tablecloth under the bright lights and cameras.

Bei Bei was playing with a piece of bamboo and trying to walk.
