Female employees waste 40 per cent time on talking to male co-workers
New Delhi: Many office goers may or may not agree, but a rating agency has concluded that 20 to 30 per cent of office -time is wasted by employees on social-networking.
A study made by JobBuzz has also found that 40 per cent of office time by female employees is wasted on talking to male co-workers.
Comparatively, male workers are less talkative. They waste only 30 per cent time on talking, either to male-co-workers or female.
Surfing takes 30 per cent of office time of workers
Websites which are most popular in offices are Facebook, Google and Twitter.
The study has also revealed that employees spent more time on Facebook accounts than Google accounts.
Of the total time wasted on Websites, Facebook accounts for 30 per cent followed by Google for 20 per cent. All of them spent less time on Twitter-- only five per cent.
Technical glitches consume only two per cent of office time.
