New Delhi: After postponement of sentence in the fodder scam case for the second consecutive day, the special CBI court judge revealed that he received phone calls from convict Lalu Prasad Yadav’s men.

Justice Shivpal Singh, however, did not specify what was said to him by the callers.

"I got many references for you but don't worry, I will follow only law", he reportedly told Lalu.

The pronouncement of quantum of sentence to Lalu Prasad Yadav in the second fodder scam case was postponed yesterday and then again today.

Earlier on December 23, the special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court had held Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and 15 others guilty in a case related to the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 84.5 lakh from the Deoghar district treasury in Bihar, during 1990 to 1994.

The trail in the case came to an end on December 13 and after 10 days, the former Bi9har CM was convicted on December 23.

Lalu was also convicted in the first of the five fodder scam cases in 2013, for which he was sentenced to five years in prison.
