In another decision, UP government has approved the mining policy of 2017. The state government passed four proposals in its cabinet meeting.

UP minister Satish Mahana said that the name of Samajwadi Express has been changed to Purvanchal Express. Apart from it, due to the fact that only 40 percent of the land was acquired under the scheme, no tender was given extension, so all the tender has been automatically cancelled.
