Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is all set for a major administrative reshuffle. It is believed that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's trip to Delhi will bring a season of transfers in administration and police departments of the state.

The necessary 'talks' regarding the same have been finalized during the trip and according to the highly placed official sources, each and every officer to be posted has been scrutinised and even categorised.

What was the scrutiny?

According to the sources, each and every officer was categorised in three lists - first of the officers having excellent track records, second of the officials having proximity to the previous governments of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and third of the personnel who were good at work but were also close to the earlier governments due to their professional obligation.

Some officers were even categorised as working for political parties while holding a post in an administration or police departments.

Why this trip holds significance?

There was a wrong message being sent as CM secretariat is still not having a full-time Principle Secretary and other important posts are also lying vacant. Party MLAs were also in catch 22 situation as they have to bear with the officials against whom they campaigned throughout the elections and officers are still very much on the post.

Amidst this, the Delhi trip of Yogi Adityanath is considered to be a very important one. Sources have informed newstrack.com that all the strategies regarding the mass scale transfers have been finalized during the trip. The transfers, however, will take place in phases.
