CM Yogi Adityanath issues behavioural code of conduct to UP ministers

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued an advisory, to Uttar Pradesh ministers, regarding the code of conduct to be followed by them.

The ministers have been asked to follow the code of conduct so that the transparent and corruption free system of government is ensured in the state.

Here are the important directives issued to the ministers:

  • Share the information, with the government, about any partnership between the companies they are associated with.
  • All the ministers have to disclose the worth of gold and silver they own to the UP Government.
  • Information about the job or business the ministers were involved in before entering the ministry has to be disclosed by them..
  • Kin of the ministers should not be involved in contractual lease or supply of goods in any government department.

  • No UP minister is allowed to carry out any business activity that is directly or indirectly related to the government.
