Will make Mayawati, BSP extinct from UP: Swami Prasad Maurya
Gorakhpur: Coming down heavily on Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati, former party leader Swami Prasad Maurya on Friday said he would eradicate the party’s existence from Uttar Pradesh.
Swami was here to attend the first regional conference of the Democratic Bahujan Manch.
Swami Prasad could join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on August 8, said sources close to him.
He, however, denied it saying, “media persons are making me to join Samajwadi Party, Nitish Kumar’s party and BJP from the day I left BSP.”
Attacking BSP, he said-
- BSP’s popularity is waning from the day, I resigned.
- If Congress fights election properly then BSP will be nowhere.
- Mayawati’s only focus is to full her bags with money.
“The teachings and thoughts of Ambedkar and Kanshiram are being crushed constantly in the BSP and that was the major reason of my resignation,” said Maurya.
