Faizabad: While PM Modi is targeting topics like development, corruption free state and better law and order to attract the electorate of UP, his ministers have decided to take another communal route.

The senior BJP leader, Vinay katiyar said that if the party comes to the power in the state Ayodhya will soon have a Ram Mandir.

While addressing a public gathering in faizabad, Katiyar gave a controversial statement saying, "We demolished the Babri masjid and likewise we will definitely build the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, but for this you need to bring BJP to power."

It could be mentioned that earlier katiyar said, "The Ram mandir movement was started by me 30 years ago. It became the base for the giant leap of the BJP."

Earlier giving a statement on ram Mandir issue katiyar refused to the link this temple issue with the Assembly polls. “There is no need to connect the Ram temple issue with state elections as it is an old matter. It must be raised every time until the temple is constructed."

It may be mentioned that five constituency of Faizabad will go for polls in phase five on February 27. The results will be declared on March 11.
