UP government launches Twitter war over water train issue
Mahoba/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh government has followed twitter route to derail Modi's water train to Bundelkhand. The official twitter handle of UP Chief Minister is flooded with the tweets pertaining to water train leaving perplexed population of Bundelkhand gasping for breath.
The Centre's proposal to send water train has vehemently been refused by the state government but a series of tweets suggest the traditional battle field of Bundelkhand has entered into a new terrain. Train or no train, train tankers full of water or without water but the drough-hit people will ever get water-it still remains a mystery.
If tweets of the state government are to believed ,the region had sufficient water to cater. The thousand s of the residents of Mahoba, Banda or Hamirpur may find it hard to swallow the fact but their eternal hope is the only saviour of the day.
As per the statistics about 70 per cent of hand pumps in Bundelkhand have already turned dry and sometimes the situation turn ugly when people fight for water which often happens. Neglecting the plight of all such natives of drought hit Bundelkhand, the Central and Uttar Pradesh government have indulged in the twitter war over the issue.
