UP CM Yogi Adityanath visited KGMU trauma centre | PICTURES

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Sunday, visited the King George Medical College Trauma Center, that was engulfed in flames, to inquire about the health of patients.

"CM Adityanath met 30 to 35 patients admitted at Trauma centre and inquired about their medical condition," said Prof ML Bhatt, Vice Chancellor, KGMU.

Yogi Adityanath also inspected various departments at the trauma centre and met the family members of the patients.

It may be mentioned that a major had engulfed the King George Medical University (KGMU) Trauma Centre around 07:00 pm on Saturday, leaving the patients and their family members in panic.

Fire tenders got control on the massive flames after struggling for around couple of hours. Sources said that at least five patients, who required emergency treatment, died due to delay in getting medical assistance.
