UP Cabinet meeting may take some important descisions today

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh cabinet which is meeting here on Wednesday may take some important decisions, including one on transfer of officials, which will have far reaching consequences. The cabinet may give more freedom to ministers in transfer and posting in view of the elections in the state next year.

The cabinet may also announce some important decisions regarding jobs in thebasic education department in the state.

What is to be discussed in the UP cabinet meeting:

• The panel may discuss the issue of appointing the kins of basic education department’s deceased employees as teachers.
• The meeting will also discuss the policies related to transfer by ministers.
• The government may increase the powers of principal secretaries of the state.
• The new rules for the Homeopathy department and data operating services could be framed by the state government after the cabinet meeting.
