Oops! Now, UP BJP chief drops ‘shock bomb’ on Mayawati
Gorakhpur: In yet another shocker from Bharatiya Janata Party, this time coming from state president Keshav Prasad Maurya, in which he reminded BSP president Mayawati of the infamous state guest house case of 1995 in Lucknow.
"It was a political drama, not required," Maurya said.
His controversial statement came to a query about the abuses hurled on BJP during the BSPs protest in the statecapital on Thursday denouncing the remarks of expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh.
Maurya, accompanied by state BJP in-charge Om Mathur and other senior party leaders, had come to oversee arrangements in Gorakhdham temple a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.
The state BJP president said, “My party has already taken action against Dayashankar for his deprecatory remark but BSP is taking undue political mileage from this issue.”
