Allahabad: Interest of western countries in Indian culture has always been prominent. Be it the Yoga or Veda, our nation has always attracted admirers from all over the world and to take this practice to another level. United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has decided to lend a hand to provide an international opportunity to eminent scholars to dig more out of Indian Vedas.

UNESCO member Alexander Usanin has decided to provide guidance to an ‘International Vedic Camp’ that is being organized in the Allahabad city of Uttar Pradesh.

Titled as Uthista, this is the first camp in India where Vedic scholars from abroad are assembling to preach vedic knowledge and its relevance in contemporary civilization.

The camp will be organised by a CBSE school named Shiv Ganga Vidya Mandir on 17th June 2017. According to the official sources, UP’s Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma will inaugurate the event along with the senior Cabinet ministers.

The camp will be co-ordinated by Allahabad University Professor Sheo Sagar Ojha.

  • Eminent Foreign dignitaries having profound work experience in propagating Vedic Education worldwide are participating in this program.
  • German Vedic Scholar, Maria Wirth & Russian Vedic Scholar Oblonokov Igor shall be making seminal contribution to the event.
  • Shiv Ganga Vidya Mandir will provide logistic and technical ground support to successfully carry out the Utistha .
  • The organisers stated that first in India and one of its kinds of camp, Utistha will create awareness among the people about eternal values of Vedic Knowledge.
