Muzaffarnagar: After romancing with 17 women, the valentine 2016 does not augur well for a modern Casanova Abdul Hameed, a quinquagenarian (person between the age of 50-59 years) whose 18th attempt proved unsuccessful for him.

Hameed , who had fled away with a married woman from Jammu and Kashmir was arrested from the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Hameed hails from Jammu and Kashmir and was arrested on Friday last.

Used to leave women at railway at station:

Hamid had developed a habit of leaving the women at railway station after romancing them, said Sarpanch of Charar Shareef village in Badgaon of J&K.

Had romanced and eloped with 17 women so far.

Was in touch with Hizbul Mujahideen

Constable Nazir Ahmad of Jammu and Kashmir police here said that Hameed was also in touch with the Kashmiri separatist group Hizbul Mujahideen.

How he got arrested:

  • Acting on the tip police arrested the duo from Mansoorpur area.
  • Had eloped with Jameela, wife of Bashir Ahmad of Charar Shareef village two months ago.
