Suresh Raina guides GL win by 6 wickets against KKR

Kanpur: Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina’s fifty helped Gujarat Lions to overpower Gautam Gambhir led Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets in IPL 2016 at the Green Park stadium here on Thursday.

Raina scored 53 runs off just 36 balls and guided GL to a spectacular win over KKR. His match winning knock was flavored with 7 boundaries and a single six.

Aaron Finch also played a cameo and scored 26 runs off 23 balls.

Previously, Kolkata scored 124 runs in their 20 overs, with only Yusuf Pathan adding some charm with 36 runs inning.

With this terrific win, GL have strengthened their position in the points table.
