Student leaders see in Varun Gandhi a chief ministerial face

Allahabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh is divided on the issue of chief ministerial face for the 2017 assembly elections in the state. A controversial poster in this regard has come out in the city. It is a handy work of a few student leaders who have favoured Varun Gandhi for the prominent post.

The poster has photos of Varun Gandhi and HRD minister Smriti Irani along with a caption that reads: “Smriti Irani hui beemar, Uttar Pradesh ki yahi pukaar, Varun Gandhi ab ki baar.”

Student wing’s demand:

• Varun is the front -runner
• BJP should give chance to youths in the upcoming elections
• Varun Gandhi suits best for the CM post in the state
