New Delhi: In an acerbic attack on Pakistan for interfering in India's internal matter and misguiding the youths, the BJP-led NDA government on Monday asserted that Burhan Wani was a terrorist of Hizbul which had its headquarters in Pakistan.

"I warn Pakistan to shun its nefarious activities viz-a-viz India which had an inherent unifying character and it cannot be deterred from its path of harmonious country," Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh told the Rajya Sabha in reply to a debate on Kashmir. Everyone should be clear on one count that Wani was a Pak-reared terrorist, he reiterated.

He said the situation in Kashmir after the encounter of Burhan Wani had been fuelled by the neighbour country by misguiding the gullible youths of India. '' Pakistan , which was formed on the premise of religion, could not keep its unified and instead of keeping its own house in order, it is trying to destabilise India ,'' said Rajnath in his strongly worded reply while reacting to the observance of black day on Wani's encounter by Pakistan..

Making it clear that he wanted to go to Kashmir to have a dialogue with the people of Kashmir but J and K Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti asked to wait till the situation there was normalised, the Union Home Minister said the it was the high time India would repulse the designs of Pakistan with heavy hand. "India is perfect example of unity in diversity and will remain one despite the disruptive activities fanned by Pakistan," he said while assuring all the minorities of India that they were safe in the hands of present ruling dispensation at the Centre.

He chose the occasion to project India as a potent global force, Rajnath said that it was just matter of few years that this country would be reckoned as one of the super powers of the World. "No plot can prevent India from achieving top place on the global map," he pointed out.
