SP's Radhe Shyam humiliates senior officer via telephone

Kushinagar: While Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav seems to be exploring all avenues to ‘spruce up’ the image of his party ahead of the 2017 Assembly polls, other Samajwadi Party (SP) men don’t apparently care a whit about the idea.

In a fresh image damaging audio clip, SP Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Hata constituency and Minister Radhe Shyam Singh can be heard reviling and humiliating senior officer of the district panchayat Umesh Patel.

What is the matter:

The issue was about a contract which was to be awarded by the district panchayat in Kushinagar.

Senior SP leader Radhe Shyam Singh made offensive remarks against the officer for not awarding the contract to a man referred by him during a telephonic conversation between the two.

Singh even threatened to kill the officer during the phone call.
