Sonia to highlight Modi failures during Varanasi roadshow

Varanasi: Picking up Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home constituency Varanasi to blow the election bugle for the 2017 UP assembly polls, Congress President Sonia Gandhi is all-set to hold a massive road show in the temple town on Tuesday.

Congress' UP Chief Ministerial face Sheila Dikshit and senior party leader Ghulam Nabi Azad will also be present during the roadshow.

Details of Sonia Gandhi’s programme:

• Sonia Gandhi will kick-start her rally from Ambedkar Park at 1.00 pm.
• Her roadshow will cover various places in the city including Nadesar, Chowkaghat, Alaipur, Golgadda, Peelikothi and Maldahiya.
• She would garland statues of Mahatma Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sardar Patel falling enroute
• Her rally will end at the Englishiyaline where, Sonia Gandhi will garland the statue of Pandit Kamla Pati Tripathi.
• She will offer prayers at Vishwanath Temple before flying back to Delhi in evening
