Samit Dravid , as is the case with all the celebrities kids, is in the news but in his case for the performance his father should be proud of. He scored a stroke-filled ton in an Under-14 cricket match, in Bengaluru, on Wednesday.

It was his knock along with a major contribution from his team-mate Pratyush, who hit an unbeaten 143, Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC), which Rahul Dravid serves as president, registered a crushing win over Frank Anthony Public School in the Tiger Cup cricket tournament.

BUCC 'A' piled up a mammoth 326 for 5 in 30 overs and then bundeling out FAPS for a paltry 80 in 27 overs winning by an impressive margin of 246 runs.

Brief scores: U-14: BUCC ‘A’: 326/5 in 30 overs (Samit Dravid 125, Pratyush 143 n.o, Rowan 3-32) defeated FAPS: 80 all out in 27 overs (Anirudh 3-3, Harsh 3-7).
