‘Shaktiman’ to get an American leg made of carbon fibre

Aligarg/Dehradun: Shaktiman, the white horse of police, who lost his leg during a protest by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) few days ago, is all set to get a new prosthetic leg made of carbon fibre.

Dehradun’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sadanand S R Date has called famous veterinary Dr Jenny from United States and Sanjay Verma from Aligarh in this regard.

It may be mentioned that the prosthetic leg of Shaktiman did not work due to his weight of around 400 kgs.

Carbon fibres are used for making components of aircraft.
