New Delhi: Disappointed with the polling results of five states, the senior Congress leaders Digvijaya Singh, Shashi Tharoor and Jyotiraditya Scindia have come up with sage advices for the party to break the jinx.

Going to an extent, Digvijay Singh even suggested ‘major surgery’ stating “ We have already done enough introspection. Now, it is high time to go for a major surgery.”

Echoing the same sentiments , the Congress Member of Parliament (MP) Shashi Tharoor said “The time for introspection is now over and the due time for action has arrived. Seemingly, it is time to move and make changes that are visible to the country. The party should draw on conclusion from its introspection and take required actions.” said .

“The election results are really disappointing and now, the party should take stern actions towards the change to save its existence in the country,” said Scindia in a statement.
